R/W total of 45 min, approx 3 miles, ran for 10 min at a time with 2-4 min walking breaks.
Feeling good, stretched properly after, no knee pain thankfully.
Have started taking points from JG's Marathon.
So far - the most important part is the weekend long run for building endurance.
-weekly runs for maintaining the endurance gained on the long runs.
-taking regular walking breaks right from the beginning of the workout.
-the weekly long run at a speed 2min per mile slower than projected marathon speed-this is laughable right now-already am running at 16 min mile so shd I go down to 18 min mile ?

When I was trying to run a marathon, I did a lot of research and I thought Jeff Galloway was THE program to follow. The injury-free stuff...isn't that what it's all about? Glad to hear you're not having any knee pain! You're doing a great job on this goal. You're gonna get there... :)
