I am back.
Had some good time off. Did run on some days, average distance of 2.5 miles, but didnt keep a log. There was a lake in the town and we went there almost every morning, watched the sun rise, the ducks and the swans, the cold air, other joggers enjoying the same scene. Unfortunately that kicked off a massive appetite and inspite of the exercise and sightseeing I managed to gain 5 pounds.
Did go for a run/walk of 3 miles yesterday, in 45 min. But then my knees hurt everytime I went up and down the stairs. Looked up on the net-runners knee probably. Thankfully improved after 2-4 hours with ice and stretches.
Once the jetlag is over will be seting up a schedule for the next 6-8 months. Resources I will be using are Runners World Jan 2008 which has the marathon races for the year, active.com which has the events listed near my county, the book Marathon by Jeff Galloway as a guide for the workouts, other runners blogs regularly for motivation.Will do this by this weekend.
